Elias-Kilian Schmidt and Andreas Pilarski — Learn to Drink – Glass Carafes Combined with Wood, Leather and Cotton

Glass and water are very similar. They both occur naturally in the liquid state, but their flow velocities are different. While it takes much longer than a human lifetime for glass to finally run away, water does so in a single second. They are both living materials that fascinate us with their translucence, reflexes and soft shapes. The Learn to Drink carafes are suspended and seem to be freely floating in the air, making visible the subtle aura of glass and water and animating to drink water more often and more consciously.
