Moritz Jähde — Calendar with a special mechanism
The classical tear-off calendar does not reliably show the date but instead reflects one’s own unreliability. At the beginning of the year, we’re still happy to tear off a sheet every morning, but our enthusiasm weakens fast – and so, the calendar still shows January 4 as the current date at the height of summer. Thanks to a special mechanism, this 366-page calendar is guaranteed to show the correct date, even if we forget to tear off a sheet every now and then.
Moritz Jähde (*1991) studies product design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe since 2010 and is founder of 'spreng&sonntag' in Karlsruhe, Germany.
