Patrick Palčić — Something's In The Air

Seen from the front, the copper bowl with its twelve holes almost looks like a normal clock, but its lack of clock hands is slightly puzzling. The openings are filled with different essences. At twelve o’clock, the top hole releases a fluid that runs across the copper surface, leaving a delicate trace. The bowl slowly heats up, and the first of twelve scents floats in the air. The copper bowl rotates, bringing a new hole to the top centre every full hour to repeat the process. Something’s in the Air makes it possible to experience time with yet another sensory organ.
