Venue: Transformer Station

»Some 7,000 metres of copper wire are the dominating element of the exhibition concept. The material, copper, reflects the competition´s topic and reminds of the enormous transformers and copper spools that were once part of the transformer station. The visitors are guided through the exhibition along these wires with their warm light reflections. Opening new views and perspectives, the room´s interior is also divided into smaller zones. Tables are suspended on copper wires to hold the objects, giving the columns a doubly supporting purpose.« – Vincenz Warnke, Curator
